Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the EasyHelp plugin (“the Plugin”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Plugin.

2. License

The Plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later (GPL-2.0+). You may freely use, modify, and distribute the Plugin in accordance with the terms of that license.

3. Use of Service

You agree to use the Plugin only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not:

  • Use the Plugin to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass security features
  • Use the Plugin in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the operation of any website or server

4. Intellectual Property

The Plugin code is open source under GPL-2.0+. The EasyHelp name, branding, and logo are the property of the plugin authors and may not be used without permission except as explicitly allowed by the license.

5. Third-Party Services

The Plugin may integrate with third-party services (e.g., AI auto-responder endpoints). Use of those services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the operation, availability, or content of third-party services.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE PLUGIN.

8. Privacy

The Plugin may collect and store data necessary for its operation (e.g., user accounts, tickets, documentation). You are responsible for configuring the Plugin in compliance with your privacy policy and applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, etc.).

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to related services (such as the AI auto-responder API) for violations of these terms. The GPL license grants perpetual rights to the Plugin code itself.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Plugin after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
